Park Attendant - Grounds Crew

About the role

HealthFitness is looking for a reliable and hardworking Grounds Crew Member to join the team at their corporate client site in Racine, Wisconsin. This role involves semi-skilled grounds work using light-duty equipment to help keep their parks clean, safe, and attractive. It is a seasonal role working May through September.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean outdoor facilities/equipment on a daily basis, including opening and closing procedures.
• Perform routine semi-skilled grounds labor, construction, and maintenance.
• Recognize and respond to an emergency within the boundaries of the park.
• Use of vehicles: golf carts, utility carts, 1500 size truck, 2500 size truck.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully pass a driving record check.
• Adult CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

• Knowledge of park regulations and safety protocols.

Pay

$11 - $14/hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This is a seasonal role working May through September.
