This role involves supervising events and functions at Hawk Woods Lodge, maintaining the lodge and surrounding property, handling cabin rentals, managing supplies, and ensuring cleanliness after rentals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise events and functions at Hawk Woods Lodge.
• Maintain the lodge and surrounding property, including trash and litter removal.
• Manage cabin rentals, including check-ins and check-outs.
• Organize, inventory, and stock supplies.
• Clean the lodge and cabins after rentals.
• Perform park patrol and trash removal duties.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid motor vehicle license with an acceptable driving history.
• Ability to perform essential duties such as park patrol and trash removal.
• Availability for a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, walk or stand for long periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Pass a background check and other pre-employment screenings, including a nicotine test (tobacco users may reapply after six months).

Pay

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.

Schedule

Permanent part-time position limited to 29 hours per week. Hours and times vary greatly throughout the year based on rental volume, weather, and seasonal changes. Shift lengths range from 2 hours (e.g., cabin check-in) to 7 hours (e.g., building supervisor shift). Parks are busiest in the afternoons, on weekends, and during warm weather months.
