Park Area Ambassador (Shows)

About the role

Join us as an Ambassador and play an important part on our team, helping bring joy, excitement, and lasting memories to guests from around the world while caring for animals and maintaining our park.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide accurate, engaging information about park attractions, shows, and experiences
• Clearly communicate all safety guidelines and ensure guest compliance to maintain a safe, secure environment
• Manage show operations by opening and closing venues in accordance with capacity limits and scheduled start times
• Oversee reserved seating areas, ensuring guests with purchased seating experiences are properly accommodated and receive a premium, seamless experience
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of all assigned venues, including seating areas, queue lines, and show spaces, to uphold park standards
• Deliver exceptional guest service by proactively responding to questions, resolving concerns, and anticipating guest needs
• Represent the park with enthusiasm by demonstrating a positive attitude, high energy, and a strong commitment to quality in every interaction
• Support overall park operations by assisting with additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to climb stairs
• Must have strong written/verbal communication skills
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Must be able to work with cleaning machines
• Must be able to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time (often in direct sunlight)
• Must be able to work in inside and outdoor weather conditions (i.e., wet/humid conditions and sun)
• Must be able to positively interact with park guests and co-workers of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or languages, and individuals with special needs
