Park Area Ambassador

Responsibilities

• Ensure an exemplary level of guest service, including engaging with guests and maintaining a clean and safe environment throughout the park
• Work in a team environment, modeling a positive attitude, high energy, and unyielding commitment to quality
• Interact with others in a positive, professional manner
• Provide exceptional guest service by answering questions and concerns
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness around assigned area, including grounds, mulch beds, benches, tables, smoke outposts, picnic areas, and parking lots
• Report any maintenance concerns to leadership in a timely manner

Requirements

• Must be at least 15 years of age
• Passion for customer service
• Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
• Outstanding communication abilities
• Active listener with the ability to anticipate guests' needs
• Ability to promote and ensure a safe and secure environment
• Flexibility to perform varied duties
• Ability to initiate conversations with guests
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs
• Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift
• Perform physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bending floor-to-waist/waist-to-overhead, reaching overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
• Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
• Willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
• Able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, including extreme heat and cold temperatures
• Must provide flexible, consistent availability (including nights, weekends, and holidays) and adhere to Holiday and Availability agreement
• Consistently practice safe work habits including use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and reporting unsafe situations
• Must be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs
• Ability to successfully complete all legal, company, and department training requirements within established timelines
