Paramedic - Emergency Department, Night Shift

About the Role

This is a full-time night-shift position for a Paramedic working within an Emergency Department. You will facilitate culturally sensitive, age-appropriate patient care under supervision, ensure safety, educate patients and families, and contribute to performance improvement and patient advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and communicate findings effectively
• Start IVs, administer medications, and perform EKGs
• Conduct catheterization, blood draws, and patient transport
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes
• Oversee and guide unlicensed staff
• Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• 1+ year of paramedic experience (preferred)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (or completion within 6 months)
• Valid state and national paramedic licenses
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (beneficial)
