Role: Paramedic responsible for providing age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care under supervision, maintaining a safe environment, educating patients and families, and utilizing technology effectively. Key Responsibilities: Participates in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of healthcare services; advocates for patients; teaches; oversees unlicensed personnel; and contributes to performance improvement initiatives. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent.Minimum 1 year of Paramedic experience preferred.Current Paramedic certification in Georgia required; National Registry preferred.BLS certification required.In the Emergency Department, ALS/ACLS and PALS certifications required; new Paramedics will complete within 6 months.Experienced ED Paramedics have 6 months to obtain PALS certification. Skills: Effective communication, patient advocacy, cultural competence, ability to work in a collaborative environment, and proficiency with healthcare technology.
