About the role
Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care and manage emergency scenes.
Responsibilities
- Assess emergency situations and determine appropriate actions using advanced protocols.
- Operate medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and administer intravenous fluids.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide reassurance and information.
- Serve as team leader when necessary, managing the scene and unit operations.
- Drive ambulance during 911 responses.
- Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel.
- Engage in community programs to promote positive relations and maintain the organization's image.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- State Paramedic License and Driver’s License.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic.
- Valid driving record and ability to pass physical agility tests.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
