Paramedic ATD

Program Details

The program is accredited by CAAHEP and tracks its outcomes annually through the CoAEMSP. The most recent success rate for the National Registry Licensure Examination was 83%, and the positive placement rate for graduates was 100%. The retention rate was also 100%. The program prepares students for certification as paramedics in accordance with Florida law.

Program Content

• Successful completion of this program equips students with the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to be a member of the emergency medical services team as a Paramedic.
• Students are qualified and prepared to pass the National Registry Licensure Examination.
• Prerequisites: Florida EMT Licensure 250 Hours of Patient Care Contact Oral Interview with Program Director.

• Certified in ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS.

Co-Skills

• SkillsUSA and/or HOSA are the approved cocurricular career and technical student organizations which provide activities for students as an integral part of the instruction by providing leadership training and reinforcing specific career and technical skills.
