Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records promptly
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic counts
• Provide advanced life support care from initial contact to handoff at medical facilities
• Maintain competency through ongoing training and documentation of licensure and certifications
• Ensure equipment and supply maintenance and safety compliance
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public
• Participate in pre-mission briefings, debriefings, and assist with aircraft safety checks and pilot support as needed
• Fill shifts as required within assigned areas

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in 911 or critical care settings
• Current EMT-P license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and trauma certifications
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) within 24 months of hire
• Instructor certifications and NREMT-P may be preferred
• Willingness to relocate or reside near Klamath Falls, OR is preferred
