About the role

Deliver emergency medical care in pre-hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls, assess patient conditions, and administer appropriate interventions.
• Transport patients safely to medical facilities while monitoring their condition.
• Provide advanced life support, including airway management, intravenous therapy, defibrillation, and medication administration.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, emergency personnel, and healthcare providers.
• Maintain detailed patient care reports and ensure the readiness of medical equipment and vehicles.
• Educate and reassure patients and families in crisis situations, adhering to safety and legal protocols.
• Interpret medical instructions, lift and move patients in challenging environments, and participate in ongoing training.

Requirements

• Current NYS Licensed Paramedic.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or obtain AHA credentials within 3 months).
• Valid Driver’s license.
