Paramedic

Responsibilities

• Renders basic life support of the highest quality, compassion and dignity, while providing patients transportation in the pre-hospital and inter-facility settings.
• Functions as a member of the health care team in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures.
• Provides care to patients ranging in age from neonatal through geriatric.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Department of Health Paramedic certification
• Current and valid Healthcare Provider – BLS CPR card
• Current and valid AHA ACLS card
• Current and valid AHA PALS card
• Valid Driver’s License
• CEVO certification – must obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 year period
• Previous experience as a Paramedic preferred
• Good driving record

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $32.00 to $39.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
