Paramedic

About the role

The Paramedic role provides both basic and advanced life support during emergency pre-hospital and interfacility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient’s injury or illness in accordance with state and local protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical services to patients in accordance with state and local protocols.
• Assess and manage patient conditions during transport.
• Administer medications and perform other medical procedures as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare providers and emergency response teams.

Requirements

• Completion of Paramedic Course required.
• Current applicable state(s) license as a Paramedic required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• PIFT Certification required within six months of start date.

Qualifications

• Licenses/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Paramedic required. Valid Driver’s License required. Current BLS certification required. PIFT Certification required within six months of start date.
• Licenses/Certifications: Locations in New Hampshire require a NH Paramedic License with a National Registry Paramedic License.

Schedule

Shifts are Per Diem with options for 16-hour shifts (3P - 7A) and 24-hour shifts (7A - 7A).
