About the role
Harris Regional Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Paramedic to join our team. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a 2-year commitment. Shifts vary between 24/72 or 12-hour rotations, including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Respond, treat, and react quickly and calmly to emergency and non-emergency situations to provide advanced and basic life support care to the ill and injured.
- Ensure the assigned unit is properly equipped, stocked, and prepared to respond to single or multiple patient incidents during a shift.
- Be responsible for scheduling and coverage if other personnel are not available to cover a shift.
- Work in various shifts including days, nights, and 24-hour coverage to ensure adequate coverage for the service.
- Provide care in the Harris EMS area, which includes patient’s houses, infrastructures, hospitals, and long-term care facilities.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma is required.
- An Associate's degree or higher is preferred.
- A current North Carolina Paramedic license from the National Registry is preferred.
- Two years' experience as a full-time Paramedic is desired.
- AHAEPC, ARC, ASHI/HSI CPR, AHA, ARC, ASHI/HSI ACLS/ALS, AHA, ARC, ASHI/HSI PALS, or BTLS/PHTLS/ITLS/TECC certification is required and must be acquired within 6 months of starting the position, then maintained thereafter.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required.
- Associate's degree or higher is preferred.

- Two years' experience as a full time Paramedic desired.

Skills
- Proficiency in Standard Work principles.
- Participation in improvement teams and following established channels for process improvement ideas.

Pay
