About the role

Ambulnz by DocGo is seeking experienced Paramedics to join our dynamic team in the Capital District, Rockland County, Orange/Ulster County, Delaware County, Newburgh, and Glens Falls areas. This position offers competitive pay rates ranging from $27.50 to $40.50 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, direct deposit, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow EMTs and management to ensure top-tier patient care.
• Be flexible with your work schedule, which may vary due to the 24-hour operation of emergency services.
• Stay updated with current standards of care, including equipment functions and all certifications, licenses, and registrations.
• Provide courteous, helpful, and professional service to patients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
• Treat medical conditions appropriately using the right techniques, equipment, and knowledge of state and county protocols.
• Assume responsibility for medical care during transportation to medical facilities, following established policies and procedures.
• Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your workspace.
• Gather patient billing information and secure appropriate signatures.
• Prepare and submit pre-hospital patient care reports.
• Respond promptly to dispatch center assignments.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• New York State Paramedic License
• Obtain Hudson Valley REMAC Certification within 30 days of hire
• Valid Driver's License (minimum of 2 years) and acceptable driving record
• Valid Healthcare Provider BLS CPR Card
• Valid ACLS and PALS Certifications
• Able to lift, push, and pull 125 lbs. or more
• Successfully complete a Physical Aptitude Test
• Tech-savvy or comfortable with technology
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Respectful of colleagues, patients, and supervisors

Pay and Bonus Incentives

• $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employment
