Paralegal

About the Role

You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs in a personal injury law firm that represents harmed and injured persons and their families. We are driven to overcome obstacles blocking our clients' access to justice and pride ourselves on creative, aggressive advocacy against large corporate defendants.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing potential clients
• Interacting with existing clients, attorneys, and court staff
• Drafting letters and pleadings
• Reviewing medical records
• Preparing medical chronologies
• Drafting demand letters, witness and exhibit lists
• Preparing and compiling discovery responses
• Opening and organizing files

Requirements

• Previous experience as a paralegal or in another legal field
• Familiarity with legal research
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
