About the role
The Paraeducator (Special Education) position involves providing support to students with special educational needs within the Everett Public Schools district. This role also includes the Paraeducator- Behavior Support position.
Responsibilities
- Support students with special educational needs
- Provide behavior support services as needed
- Assist in classroom activities and routines
- Participate in the Extended Resource Program for students with mild to moderate delays in general intellectual functioning
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License
- Experience working with children and/or individuals with disabilities preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
Salary schedule: 7.5 hours per day, 195 days per year
