About the role
The Paraeducator (Special Education) position is designed to support students with special educational needs in a variety of settings within Everett Public Schools. This role also includes the Paraeducator- Behavior Support position.
Responsibilities
- Support students with special education needs in academic and social settings.
- Assist teachers in classroom management and instructional activities.
- Provide behavioral support to students as needed.
- Participate in the Extended Resource Program for students with mild to moderate delays in general intellectual functioning.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with children and adolescents.
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
Salary schedule: 6.5 hours per day, 195 days per year.
