Para Aide Substitute

Substitute para aide position, to be used as needed. $17.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Must pass BCI and FBI fingerprint checks.
• Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or its equivalency.
• Must meet No Child Left Behind standards (i.e., Associate Degree from an accredited institution, or completed at least two years of study, defined as 48 semester hours, or pass a formal State assessment).
• Ability to cope with stressful situations as related to special needs children.
• Physically capable to safely and appropriately lift and manage special needs children when necessary.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills, both oral and written.
