Substitute Teacher Aide/Paraprofessional
About Us
South Bergen Jointure Commission (SBJC) is a special education school district with locations throughout northern New Jersey. With over 350 students and an average class size of six, SBJC prepares students with extraordinary abilities to live productive, independent, and meaningful lives.
At SBJC, our students come first, and we meet their diverse needs by providing individualized learning experiences focused on maximizing independence. Our 300 staff members are committed to student success, with every team member—whether paraprofessional, related service provider, or teacher—playing a vital role in helping students achieve their goals.
Our vision ensures students learn in their least restrictive environment, developing the skills they need to unlock their potential. From curriculum to facilities, athletics, and our No Barriers initiative, all programming equips students with the tools to be their best selves.
