About the role

As a Pantry Cook, you will prepare a variety of hot and cold food items such as salad mixes, sauces, side dishes, and appetizers. You will portion, wash, peel, slice, and mix vegetables, fruits, pasta, and other ingredients for entrees, appetizers, salads, and garnishes. You will also carve and slice meats and cheese, measure and mix ingredients to make salad dressings, sauces, and both hot and cold food items following recipes, ensuring our guests have a superior dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time as indicated on the work schedule with a uniform that meets restaurant requirements and is maintained and cleaned.
• Practice positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts.
• Prep all food to ensure items are prepared according to company specifications, recipes, procedures, plate presentation, and quality standards.
• Display proper food safety techniques in handling and preparation, including personal hygiene, hand washing, glove use, and knife skills.
• Know and follow emergency procedures for the restaurant.
• Maintain the highest degree of sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety for the work area, including prep tables, countertops, refrigeration units, floors, walls, and shelving.
• Accomplish all job duties while adhering to safety guidelines and practices throughout the shift; immediately report any unsafe condition, act, accident, or injury.

Pay

Starting pay $16.00–$24.00/hour based on experience.
