Paid Intern - HQF Interior Design

About the role

This internship exists primarily as an educational opportunity for those working towards a professional career in interior design. Seeking to gain meaningful experience in a professional office, the work of which helps provide facilities and services that support the Church’s efforts to bring souls unto Christ.

Responsibilities

• Assist our in-house interior designers in the development of projects specific to Headquarters Facilities.
• Work alongside teams of experienced draftsmen, planners, outside firms, and project managers.
• Earn NCIDQ hours, as well as other opportunities to build career-specific skills.
• Receive reimbursement for initial NCIDQ application fees if applicable.
• Update and maintain our current artwork inventory as well as manage our samples library.

Qualifications

• A junior, senior, graduate level student, or recent graduate in a recognized Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting, or related program.
• Experience organizing construction documents.
• Experience using Revit, AutoCAD, and supporting technologies.
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated, organized, professional, and able to handle multiple work assignments.
• Proficient with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint).
