Interior Design Intern
Responsibilities
- Maintain design library
- Aid interior design team with concepting and specifying showrooms and trade shows
- Create furniture typicals and mood boards
- Research trends in contract interior design for core markets (corporate, education, healthcare)
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field
- Foundational understanding of design principles, space planning, materials, and finishes
- Familiarity with how interior design can support branding and marketing goals
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Basic knowledge of CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) is a plus
- Ability to create mood boards, visual concepts, and presentation layouts
- Comfortable researching and specifying furnishings, materials, and finishes
- Strong visual storytelling, brainstorming, and creative concepting abilities
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail oriented, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast paced environment

About the Role
This fall internship is aligned with the academic school year and will be based at KI’s Corporate Office in Green Bay.
