Key Responsibilities
- Review manufacturer manuals, circuit diagrams, P&IDs, and blueprints to determine appropriate testing and maintenance procedures
- Inspect and test instruments and control systems using pneumatic, electrical, and electronic testing equipment
- Diagnose and repair faults in control valves, sensors, transmitters, final control elements, DCS systems, and PLCs
- Remove and replace defective components as needed
- Calibrate instrumentation and control devices according to manufacturer specifications
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and complete maintenance documentation and reports
- Install control and measurement instruments on existing and new equipment
- Partner with process operators and engineering to troubleshoot process and system issues
- Maintain accurate maintenance records within CMMS (SAP experience preferred)
- Support plant uptime and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Industrial instrumentation and controls experience in a manufacturing or chemical plant environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills with pneumatic and electronic systems
- Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and process schematics
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience using a CMMS system (SAP preferred)
- Ability to work extended hours (over 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week) as operational needs require
