Overnight Veterinary Assistant – ER/ICU

Responsibilities
- Triage patients + collect histories
- Maintain a clean, organized space (team effort always)
- Monitor vitals (incoming + hospitalized patients)
- Jump into CPR when needed
- Support diagnostics + treatments
- Place IVCs and learn advanced lines (Central/PICC )
- Provide updates to clients
- Assist with phone triage for incoming ER cases
- Work alongside a highly skilled team delivering advanced care
Requirements
- Strong patient care skills
- Curious to learn more
- Urgent Care or ER Experience
- Someone who enjoys both teaching and being taught
- A team player who can handle fast-paced shifts without losing compassion
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Oregon license as a Veterinary Technician
- Current Oregon license as a Veterinary Assistant

Full-time (weekends + holidays required)
Schedule
Overnight Veterinary Assistant – ER/ICU NE Portland (Hollywood District): Sunday, Monday, Tuesday + every other Saturday | 7:00 pm–5:00am with shift differentials.
