About the role
Full-time, benefits-eligible role in a Substance Use Disorder treatment facility.
Responsibilities
- Support and monitor residents
- Provide positive role modeling
- Maintain documentation of actions and behaviors
- Perform housekeeping
- Administer medication
- Assist with life skills such as meal prep and shopping
- Transport residents
- Collect urine specimens
- Lead educational group activities
- Respond to emergencies
- Support residents in achieving treatment goals
- Maintain confidentiality
- Provide basic first aid
- Participate in training and staff meetings
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Related experience or coursework in social services preferred
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to meet auto insurance requirements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle physical activity, outdoor conditions, and community-based work environment
