About the role

Join a residential treatment facility as an Adult Residential Support Professional, responsible for providing care, support, and monitoring to clients seeking recovery from substance use or mental health issues.

Responsibilities

  • Support residents in daily activities and recovery efforts
  • Record observations and maintain accurate documentation
  • Assist with medication monitoring under supervision
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding resident information
  • Respond to emergencies and follow safety protocols
  • Support residents in achieving their treatment goals
  • Participate in ongoing training and team activities
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed
  • Provide transportation for residents when required
  • Engage residents in outdoor and community-based activities

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience or coursework in social services preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
  • Capacity to work independently and handle physical demands in a community setting

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport
  • Problem-solving in crisis and everyday situations
  • Basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication
  • Ability to work in diverse and inclusive environments
  • Willingness to obtain certification in First Aid, Fire Safety, and Medication Administration (can be obtained post-hire)
