About the role
Join a residential treatment facility as an Adult Residential Support Professional, responsible for providing care, support, and monitoring to clients seeking recovery from substance use or mental health issues.
Responsibilities
- Support residents in daily activities and recovery efforts
- Record observations and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist with medication monitoring under supervision
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding resident information
- Respond to emergencies and follow safety protocols
- Support residents in achieving their treatment goals
- Participate in ongoing training and team activities
- Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed
- Provide transportation for residents when required
- Engage residents in outdoor and community-based activities
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience or coursework in social services preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- Capacity to work independently and handle physical demands in a community setting
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport
- Problem-solving in crisis and everyday situations
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication
- Ability to work in diverse and inclusive environments
- Willingness to obtain certification in First Aid, Fire Safety, and Medication Administration (can be obtained post-hire)
