About the role
Join a comprehensive Substance Use Disorder treatment facility as an Adult Residential Support Professional.
Responsibilities
- Support and monitor residents
- Provide positive role modeling and maintain records of actions and behaviors
- Perform housekeeping, medication monitoring, and assist with life skills such as meal prep and transportation
- Respond to emergencies and support residents in achieving treatment goals
- Maintain confidentiality
- Administer medication, urinalysis, breathalyzer tests, and basic first aid
- Engage residents in educational activities and assist with daily living tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in social services preferred
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Ability to communicate effectively, work independently, and maintain professional boundaries
- Willingness to complete DHS 83 training (preferred but may be obtained post-hire)
Skills and Qualities
- Patience, self-control, flexibility, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with computers for documentation and communication
- Physical ability to perform duties in a community-based environment, including outdoor activities and seasonal yard work
