About the role

Join a Substance Use Disorder treatment facility as an Adult Residential Support Professional, providing care, monitoring, and support to residents in a trauma-informed, gender-specific environment.

Responsibilities

• Support and observe residents while maintaining confidentiality
• Record keeping, medication monitoring, and providing basic first aid
• Assist with life skills, meal prep, transportation, and activity facilitation
• Respond to emergencies and crisis situations
• Support clinical goals
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and other facility duties

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related experience or coursework in social services preferred
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate effectively, work independently, problem-solve, and collaborate
• Knowledge of computer systems for documentation and communication
• Ability to work in a community environment, including outdoor and physical tasks

Additional Requirements

• Adherence to agency policies, cultural sensitivity, and supporting mission and values
• Completion of DHS training preferred but can be obtained after hire
