Key Responsibilities
- Surveillance & Security Leadership: Oversee the use of state-of-the-art security cameras and technology to ensure full property coverage, proactively identifying and mitigating potential threats.
- Risk Assessments & Safety Audits: Conduct regular evaluations of facilities to identify fire hazards, safety violations, and vulnerabilities, ensuring swift resolution and a secure environment.
- Emergency Preparedness: Organize and lead regular safety drills and simulations to ensure staff readiness for emergencies such as fires, severe weather, or medical incidents.
- Incident Reporting System: Implement and manage a digital reporting platform to log incidents, monitor follow-up, and drive safety improvements.
- Visible Security Presence: Ensure a consistent and professional security presence across the property to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access while offering assistance to guests and associates.
- Access Control: Oversee the operation of advanced access control systems to protect restricted areas and sensitive information.
- Incident Response Protocols: Develop and communicate detailed procedures for handling critical security situations, ensuring swift and coordinated responses.
- Team Leadership & Training: Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to Loss Prevention Officers, fostering a culture of safety, integrity, and excellence.
- Community Collaboration: Establish and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services to strengthen community ties and response capabilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of hospitality industry experience and/or completion of an accredited law enforcement academy.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within security or loss prevention is highly desirable.
