Overnight Front Desk - Night Auditor
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain all areas of the front desk; clean and organized
- Responds promptly to any guest inquiries or complaints
- Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
- Affords assistance in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment
- Completes daily checklist ensuring that all billing issues are resolved
- Ensures that rooms are listed in the computer as dirty in order for housekeeping to clean
- Affords assistance in setting up breakfast daily
- Explains various hotel amenities such as free breakfast, fitness center, etc. to guests
- Documents any new commercial customer checking in so that a new account can possibly be opened
- Offers alternate solutions if guest demand cannot be met
- Covers other areas of hotel as needed
- Documents any guest accidents by completing the accident report form
- Documents and passes along whenever a complaint is reported
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High School diploma/GED required
- Previous experience in hospitality preferred
- Customer service experience required
- Experience handling cash, credit card procedures, and use math concepts
- Attention to detail and organized
- Knowledge of the hotel layout, all amenities offered, and all procedures & organization
- Knowledge of local geographic area knowledge, area businesses & services, major highway/street information, and community events & attractions
