About the role

The Overnight Front Desk Associate role at Planet Fitness involves providing a superior level of customer service to members, guests, and fellow PF team members. Responsibilities include greeting members and guests, assisting with inquiries, resolving concerns, performing membership functions, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests as they enter and exit the club
  • Assist with any questions or concerns as they check in
  • Promote the Judgement Free Zone® by connecting with members and offering support
  • Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager if necessary
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with their inquiries
  • Perform membership-related functions such as sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and transfers
  • Conduct prospective member calls and tours, assessing their membership needs
  • Execute retail transactions with accuracy and drive sales goals
  • Regularly clean and sanitize exercise equipment, Black Card spa amenities, and communal spaces
  • Maintain restrooms by following the cleaning schedule, stocking, and keeping them clutter-free
  • Perform a comprehensive walk of all club areas to address safety/policy issues and cleanliness concerns
  • Address maintenance and facility concerns promptly, including fixing broken or missing equipment

Requirements

  • 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness)
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Physical demands include continual standing, moving, lifting up to 75 pounds, and frequent cleaning and sanitizing
