The Hertz family is hiring an Overnight Exit Gate Attendant in Nashville. This position supports airport rental operations during overnight hours by assisting customers, verifying vehicle movement, and maintaining location security standards.

Schedule

Overnight shift (11:15 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.).

Pay

Hourly rate: $17.00.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and complete necessary rental information using a handheld unit (scan rental agreement, check identification, scan vehicle asset tag, verify vehicle movement).
• Maintain location and company security measures to mitigate theft; perform sight monitoring of the lot and ensure smooth transition of vehicles exiting through the security gate.
• Assist customers with directions and review/resolve rental contract and vehicle issues.
• Manually log and release vehicles from the lot during computer system outages or unavailability.
• Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience; security experience preferred.

Knowledge / Skills

• Ability to manage stressful and unusual situations while maintaining good customer relations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Car‑rental product knowledge and ability to use approved sales techniques as required.
• Accurate data entry and typing skills.
• Ability to operate radio, security, and computer equipment.
• Ability to process all paperwork according to policies and procedures.
