Responsibilities
- Deliver revenue and profits to the organization by closing orders and making deals.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to an assigned customer base, working with other branch associates to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base, collaborating with management to develop sales strategies and target new accounts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and customers, addressing product quotations and resolving issues.
- Analyze competition in the territory, devise sales strategies, and communicate these strategies to sales leadership.
- Work diligently to meet budgeted sales goals set collaboratively with management.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of Industrial industry experience and prior outside sales experience.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, able to complete tasks in a timely manner, and enjoys building relationships in a team environment.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and listening skills.
- General digital literacy.
- Self-motivated, able to multi-task, and learn quickly.
Pay
The estimated total compensation range, based on performance and experience, is $125,000-$200,000+.
Schedule
This is a field-based sales role supporting customers in the Geismar, LA area, and surrounding areas. This position will need to be based in the Geismar, LA area.
