Responsibilities
- Possess strategic prospecting skills to develop new business
- Create and execute tactical plans for customer retention and expansion
- Identify new customers and project opportunities proactively
- Act as a liaison between customers and the organization
- Build high-level relationships and understand customer needs
- Provide regular reporting on customer and industry trends
- Update and maintain sales activity and customer information in Salesforce CRM
- Maintain regular contact with customers to address questions and provide information
- Conduct quarterly business reviews and meet sales targets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of professional experience in selling
- Demonstrated experience in applicable vertical markets (e.g., wine, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, household products)
- Thorough knowledge of printing, prime label, and/or flexible packaging
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Positive demeanor and ability to work well with customers and company employees
- Ability to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Driven to succeed and perform well in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Some travel required within a local market (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary)
Benefits
Compensation includes an annual base salary plus commission opportunity. Total compensation varies based on individual performance and meeting sales targets.
Schedule
The role is highly collaborative and requires interaction with various staff throughout the organization, both internally and externally.
