Responsibilities
- Possess strategic prospecting skills to develop new business.
- Create and implement plans to retain and grow services with existing accounts.
- Identify new customers and project opportunities proactively.
- Act as a liaison between customers and the organization during the sales and production process.
- Build high-level relationships and understand customers' businesses and requirements.
- Provide regular reporting to management on customer and industry trends, challenges, etc.
- Update and maintain sales activity, customer, and prospect information in Salesforce CRM.
- Maintain regular contact with customers to address questions and provide information about new products, capabilities, and services.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews and forecast and meet monthly and annual sales targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of professional experience in selling within printing, packaging, or folding cartons.
- Demonstrated experience in applicable vertical markets (food, beverage, wine, pharmaceutical, personal care, and household products).
- Thorough knowledge of printing, with prime label and/or flexible packaging experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Positive demeanor and ability to work well with customers and company employees.
- Ability to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods of time as required.
- Highest level of organization, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
- Drive for success and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Some travel required within a local market (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
