About the role
The Outreach Coordinator (OC) is responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers for the Community Peer Recovery Center.
Responsibilities
- Conduct community outreach by establishing partnerships, attending events, and developing strategies to increase awareness of services.
- Coordinate with community partners to strengthen collaboration.
- Document outreach activities and oversee volunteer scheduling and deployment.
- Monitor and evaluate outreach effectiveness, maintain accurate records, and represent the CPRC at community forums to promote services.
- Work closely with the team to align outreach efforts with program goals and provide regular reports on activities and volunteer engagement.
Qualifications
- Experience in outreach, volunteer management, and community organizing.
- Strong communication, networking, and computer skills.
- Knowledge of local resources and the ability to engage diverse groups.
- Bilingual ability.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Availability for weekend and evening work.
Schedule
Full-time schedule.
The role reports to the Senior Peer Services Coordinator.
