About the role
South Florida Baptist Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic Outpatient Speech Therapist to join their dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Provide speech therapy sessions in an outpatient clinic setting
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with HIPAA and clinic standards
- Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other team members for coordinated patient care
- Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on therapy goals and strategies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall development of the rehabilitation program
- Stay current with evidence-based practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
Requirements
- CCC-SLP (Speech Language Pathology)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Speech Therapy License Required
- Master's Speech Therapy Preferred
- Doctorate Speech Therapy Preferred
- 1 year Clinical Related Experience Preferred
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Therapy
- Doctorate degree in Speech Therapy
- 1 year clinical related experience
