Outpatient Clinic Physician - Adult Medicine (FM/IM)

Position Highlights

• Work with other physicians in teams but manage your own panel of patients Monday–Friday
• Adult patient panel of all ages including geriatrics and some older adolescents; can be customized for interest areas
• Conveniences include full-time management staff, digital radiology, onsite laboratory services, and 14 clinic locations throughout Las Vegas

About the role

You will deliver patient care that is compassionate, appropriate, and effective for the treatment of health problems and the promotion of health. The role emphasizes professionalism, adherence to ethical principles, and sensitivity to a diverse patient population. You will practice within a systems-based framework, leveraging system resources to provide optimal-value care.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to an adult panel of patients across all ages, including geriatrics and some older adolescents
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining autonomy over your patient panel
• Utilize electronic medical records effectively to document care and coordinate with system resources
• Engage in practice-based learning and improvement by evaluating and assimilating scientific evidence to enhance patient care

Required Qualifications

• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency trained; board certified or board eligible
• Ability to obtain Nevada medical license, DEA, and Pharmacy license
• Strong medical knowledge of biomedical, clinical, epidemiological, and social-behavioral sciences and their application to patient care
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills for exchanging information and collaborating with patients, families, and health professionals
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and sufficient computer skills to support practice needs

Compensation & Benefits

• $245,000 – $366,000 annual base salary (full-time)
