Outpatient Clinic Physician - Adult Medicine (FM/IM)
About the role
In this position you will work with other physicians in teams but manage your own panel of patients Monday–Friday. The patient population is an adult panel of all ages including geriatrics and some older adolescents and can be customized for interest areas. Our seniors have the convenience of our new Lifestyle Centers. Work in attractive/modern buildings and enjoy an electronic medical record environment. Full time management staff, digital radiology and onsite laboratory services add conveniences at our 14 clinic locations throughout the Las Vegas area. This is an employed practice position with Southwest Medical.

- Provide compassionate, appropriate and effective patient care
- Demonstrate professionalism through commitment to responsibilities, ethical principles and sensitivity to a diverse patient population
- Operate within a systems-based practice, leveraging system resources to deliver optimal value
- Engage in practice-based learning and improvement through evaluation of patient care, appraisal of scientific evidence and implementation of improvements
Requirements
- Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency trained
- Board certified or board eligible
- Ability to obtain Nevada medical license, DEA and pharmacy license
- Medical knowledge encompassing established and evolving biomedical, clinical, epidemiological and social-behavioral sciences
- Interpersonal and communication skills for effective information exchange and collaboration with patients, families and health professionals
- Sufficient computer skills to effectively utilize Electronic Medical Records

Pay
The salary range for this role is $245,000 to $366,000 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience and certifications.
