Position Highlights

  • Work with other physicians in teams but manage your own panel of patients Monday–Friday
  • Adult patient panel of all ages including geriatrics and some older adolescents; panel can be customized for interest areas
  • Seniors have access to new Lifestyle Centers
  • Attractive/modern buildings with electronic medical record environment
  • Full-time management staff, digital radiology and onsite laboratory services at 14 clinic locations throughout Las Vegas

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care that is compassionate, appropriate and effective for the treatment of health problems and the promotion of health
  • Demonstrate professionalism through commitment to carrying out professional responsibilities, adherence to ethical principles, and sensitivity to a diverse patient population
  • Operate a systems-based practice, demonstrating awareness of and responsiveness to the larger context and system of health care and the ability to effectively call on system resources to provide care of optimal value

Required Qualifications

  • Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency trained; board certified or board eligible
  • Ability to obtain Nevada license, DEA and pharmacy license
  • Medical knowledge about established and evolving biomedical, clinical, epidemiological and social behavioral sciences and application of this knowledge to patient care
  • Interpersonal and communication skills that result in effective information exchange and collaboration with patients, their families and other health professionals
  • Sufficient computer skills to effectively utilize Electronic Medical Records in practice
  • Practice-based learning and improvement that involves investigation and evaluation of patient care, appraisal and assimilation of scientific evidence and improvements in patient care

Compensation & Benefits

  • $245,000 – $366,000 annual base salary
  • $100,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates
  • Comprehensive fringe benefits package including medical, dental and life insurance, STD/LTD, professional liability, matching 401(k), relocation costs
  • 23 days PTO
  • One week paid CME with $4,500 allowance
  • Nine paid holidays
