Outpatient Clinic Physician - Adult Medicine (FM/IM)

Position Highlights

About the role

This is an employed practice position with Southwest Medical. Patient care is compassionate, appropriate, and effective for the treatment of health problems and the promotion of health. Employees work with professionalism, adhering to ethical principles and demonstrating sensitivity to a diverse patient population. The role emphasizes systems-based practice, leveraging system resources to deliver optimal value.

Compensation & Benefits

• $245,000 – $366,000 annual base salary (full-time)
• $100,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates

Qualifications

• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency trained, board certified or board eligible
• Ability to obtain Nevada medical license, DEA, and pharmacy license
• Strong medical knowledge of biomedical, clinical, epidemiological, and social-behavioral sciences
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with patients, families, and health professionals
• Proficiency with electronic medical records
• Commitment to practice-based learning and improvement through evaluation and assimilation of scientific evidence
