Outbound Cold Caller/ Appointment Setter - Life Insurance

We are looking for a confident and experienced Outbound Cold Caller / Appointment Setter to contact U.S. leads and consistently book appointments for a licensed life insurance agent.

About the role

Your job is simple: call leads, create interest, and book appointments. We provide the leads—you do NOT need to find or purchase them. Many of the people you contact already have life insurance. Your goal is to create interest in speaking with our licensed agent about their current coverage and whether other available options may be a better fit.

The licensed agent's primary appointment availability is Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time. Your main objective is to consistently fill these slots with qualified prospects.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to leads we provide.
• Speak confidently and professionally with U.S. consumers.
• Generate interest in having their existing life insurance coverage reviewed and compared with available options.
• Handle basic objections and keep the conversation moving toward an appointment.
• Schedule interested prospects directly onto the agent's calendar.
• Focus on filling appointment availability between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM Eastern Time.
• Keep accurate notes on each lead and appointment.
• Follow all provided calling, opt-out, and Do Not Call procedures.

Important: You are an appointment setter—NOT an insurance salesperson. You will NOT sell insurance, recommend specific policies, quote premiums, take applications, advise someone to cancel or replace their existing policy, or provide insurance advice. Your responsibility ends after generating interest and scheduling the prospect with the licensed agent.

Requirements

• Previous outbound cold-calling or appointment-setting experience.
• Excellent spoken English.
• Comfortable calling U.S. consumers.
• Sounds confident, friendly, and natural on the phone.
• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
• Can handle rejection and basic objections.
• Can follow a script without sounding robotic.
• Motivated by performance and wants to book appointments.
• Reliable internet, a computer, and a quiet working environment.
• Dependable and communicates well.

Previous U.S. cold-calling experience is strongly preferred. Life insurance experience is a plus but NOT required.

Pay

$6 USD/hour guaranteed base pay. Additional performance-based bonuses may be awarded for consistently generating high-quality appointments that show up and produce strong results. Strong performers will have opportunities to earn additional compensation and potentially receive additional hours.
