Out Patient Therapist- Forrest

About the Role

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is seeking a motivated and caring Out-Patient Therapist to provide counseling services in Forrest County. This position plays a vital role in delivering timely behavioral and mental health support to students and consumers experiencing difficulties.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical therapy support services and emergency services to consumers and their families.
• Assists youth in establishing realistic therapeutic goals appropriate to the problems presented.
• Conducts mental status exams when necessary.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the consumer served.
• Maintains written records of youth's progress through the therapeutic process.
• Provides community education services as needed.
• Delivers care in accordance with DMH and PBMHR standards.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field required.
• Graduate internship in a behavioral health field required.
• Behavioral health experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and insurance liability limits of 100/300/50.
