Therapist, Outpatient

About the role

We are seeking an Outpatient Therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions focused on psychological, emotional, and substance abuse issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapy sessions and actively participate in treatment planning
• Provide family counseling to ensure effective communication and support
• Engage with clients, families, and referral sources through proactive communication
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, nursing, and utilization review staff
• Communicate treatment progress and length of stay considerations to relevant team members
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for clients
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling
• Current Clinical License
• Basic Life Support certification (within 30 days of hire)
• ACLS and PALS certifications (within six months of hire)

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of relevant experience
• ASLS certification
