Therapist, Outpatient

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish) Therapist to provide individual and group therapy sessions focused on psychological, emotional, or substance abuse issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapy sessions and develop treatment plans
• Provide family counseling and facilitate communication among patients, families, and support groups
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nursing, and utilization review staff
• Communicate treatment progress and coordinate care
• Complete accurate documentation and assessments in compliance with confidentiality, HIPAA, and clinical regulations
• Utilize crisis intervention and de-escalation skills to ensure patient safety
• Participate in discharge, transition, and after-care planning

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or equivalent
• Current state-licensed clinical or social work license
• CPR and De-escalation certification (or within 30 days of hire)
