OT Team Leader

About the role

This leadership position involves managing daily operations of the occupational therapy team, including scheduling, training, and communication with staff and hospital departments. The role includes providing direct patient care, building meaningful relationships, and supporting patients' rehabilitation goals. The leader will assist the Director of Therapy Operations and ensure seamless treatment implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support therapy team operations, including scheduling, training, and communication.
• Deliver direct patient care, assessing physical, mental, and emotional needs.
• Celebrate patient progress and outcomes.

Requirements

• Current licensure or certification per state requirements.
• CPR certification (must be obtained within 30 days if not already certified).
• Degree from an accredited therapy program (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Minimum three years of occupational therapy or leadership experience; two years of clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Preferred: specialty certifications or active Therapy Clinical Ladder status.
