Orthotics and Prosthetics Adjunct
About the role
The Department of Orthotics & Prosthetics/College of Health Sciences, Education and Rehabilitation (CHER) is committed to offering programs grounded in evidence-based research and practice, and interprofessional education to prepare students to become competent professionals dedicated to promoting the health, well-being and education of the individuals and the communities they serve. Essential Functions
- Aid and support instructors, fabrication, measurement, impression taking, modification, and fitting of upper limb prosthetics in the clinical portion of the Upper Limb Prosthetics course.
- This is a support role to the course coordinator. The support role assists in the safety of the students during fabrication and patient model evaluation and fittings.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Must be an ABC Prosthetist (CP) and/or Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO)
- Experience in Upper Limb Prosthetics patient care
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of Fabrication techniques
- Computer Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
