Orthopedic Urgent Care - Full-Time NP/PA

About the role

Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute Orthopedic Team is seeking Physician Assistants/Acute Care Nurse Practitioners to join the team at Atrium Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
• Experience in orthopedic trauma care preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including rotating 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
• Passing scores on the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE) or the National Certification Exam for Nurse Practitioners (NCLEX-PN).

Pay

$51.05 - $76.60 based on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training.

Schedule

Rotating 12 hours shifts 0900 to 2100 Monday through Friday. E/O weekend 0900 to 1400.
