Orthopedic Urgent Care - Full-Time PA
About the role
Orthopedic Urgent Care - walk-in and scheduled visits
Participate in the rotating APP orthopedic practice.
Flexible schedule, no call burden.
Participate in the initial evaluation & treatment ambulatory orthopedic urgent care consults: obtaining history, performing physical exams, ordering and reviewing appropriate diagnostic studies and imaging, and conferring with supervising orthopedic surgeon.
Perform splinting, bracing, casting, orthopedic injections/aspirations, in the out-patient clinic settings.
Responsibilities
- Must have or be eligible for a DEA license.
- Approved to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required; Master’s Degree preferred.
- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider from AHA required with expiration date greater than 90 days from date of beginning practice.
- Demonstrates appropriate critical thinking, interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize and make proactive decisions.

Pay
$54.90 - $82.35 based on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training
Schedule
4 x 10 hr shifts weekly; 2 Saturdays monthly
