Orthopedic Urgent Care - Full-Time NP/PA

About the role

Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute Orthopedic Team is seeking Physician Assistants/Acute Care Nurse Practitioners to join the team at Atrium Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide musculoskeletal care to patients in urgent care setting
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans
• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests as needed
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Document patient encounters and treatment plans accurately
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice
• Experience in musculoskeletal care preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program
• Passing scores on relevant certification exams

Skills

• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in electronic health record systems

Pay

$51.05 - $76.60 based on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training

Schedule

Rotating 12 hours shifts 0900 to 2100 Monday through Friday. E/O weekend 0900 to 1400.
